Affiliate Policy

Houses, magazines and brands with an employer account on Solis Casting can join the affiliate program at no cost. Each participating house receives a personal referral link (for example, soliscasting.com/r/your-house) from the Affiliate panel on its dashboard.

When a new member joins Solis Casting through that link and becomes a paying subscriber, the referring house earns a 5% commission on every subscription payment that member makes — not just the first one — for as long as the member remains a paying subscriber. Membership renewals count; one-off casting publishing fees do not.

Only brand-new members count: a visitor who has never held a Solis Casting account or subscription. Referral credit cannot be applied to existing members, to accounts that already hold (or previously held) a plan, or retroactively after a signup that did not use your link. A house cannot refer itself, and the same member can only ever be attributed once.

Both talent and employer signups are eligible — anyone who joins through your link and subscribes earns you commission.

When someone opens your link, we record the click (time, and the page they arrived from) and store your referral code in their browser — in local storage and in a cookie that lasts 30 days. If they create an account in that same browser within that window, the referral attaches to their membership automatically and permanently at their first sign-in. No promo code entry is needed.

Attribution is tied to the browser where the link was clicked. If a visitor clicks your link on one device but signs up on another without opening your link there, or clears their browser data, or signs up after the 30-day window, the referral cannot be attributed. If a visitor clicks links from more than one house, the most recently clicked link is the one held.

Your Affiliate panel shows your personal link, total link clicks, recent clicks with their source, and every member attributed to you — name, email, role, signup date, and their standing (signed up, trialing, paying, or on hold) — plus the commission earned from each member and in total. This information is shared with you solely for tracking your referrals and must be kept confidential; it may not be used for marketing, sold, or shared with third parties.

Commission accrues at 5% of each successful subscription payment a referred member makes, recorded in your affiliate ledger when the payment clears. Payments that fail, are refunded, or are charged back do not earn commission, and any commission already recorded on a reversed payment may be deducted from your balance.

Commission stops naturally when a referred member cancels or stops paying, and resumes if they return as a paying subscriber. Payouts are settled by the Solis Casting office; contact us through the site to arrange settlement of your accrued balance. You are responsible for any taxes on commission you receive.

Share your link honestly: on your own channels, with your own audience, describing Solis Casting truthfully. You may not use self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts, incentivized signups that misrepresent the platform, spam, paid advertising that impersonates Solis Casting, or cookie-stuffing or any technique that plants your code without a genuine click. You are an independent referrer, not an agent or representative of Solis Casting, and may not make promises or statements on our behalf.

We may withhold commission and remove any participant from the program — voiding accrued, unpaid commission — where referrals were generated through abuse, fraud, or breach of this policy.

Either side can step away at any time: you may stop sharing your link whenever you like, and we may modify the commission rate, tracking window, or terms of the program with notice on this page. Commission already accrued on genuine referrals up to the date of any change is honored. Continued participation after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

Anything unclear about your link, a referral, or a payout — write to the office through the Contact page and we will look into it.
