Emmy Makela

I am a former NCAA college athlete and magna cum laude graduate from Washington University in St. Louis, having majored in Drama and Film. During my undergrad time, I was a part of an improv troupe for two years and took voice lessons. Additionally, I studied at Stonestreet Studios through NYU Tisch. Over the past year, I have amassed 20k+ followers on my TikTok, @emsthegirl, where I post hair-related content. I appeared in a strong supporting role in the feature film, 'Berkowitz,' and will appear as a lead role in the upcoming feature film 'See You in September.' I also appeared in two episodes of Ryan Murphy’s LOVE STORY as a Calvin Klein receptionist. I have been in commercials, numerous short films, and photoshoots. I have worked for several brands including Tiffany & Co, Tim Horton’s, Titleist, Chapstick, TRESemmé, Penguin Random House, and Ritual. And fun fact (!) a photograph of my hair was recently featured in Vogue.
