I was a war baby. Father connected with mother during the Greek Civil War.

I entered the fray at a US Army base hospitalin Heidelberg, German. Over the next 16 years, we moved every 3-4 years: Germany, San Francisco, Columbus, Colorado Springs, Taiwan, Davis CA, Ethiopia, Falls Church VA.

This was the education I value most! Radicalized by my experiences in the third world, I joined the Anti-War movement while still in high school. Quit college to move to Vermont and the communal life. Worked as a logger, farm hand, and maple syrup maker. Anything I could get. I was the father of twin girls at the age of 20.

Returned to Virginia to rejoin the straight world. Worked as a sous chef, bartender, and house painter. Studied Graphic Design. Migrated to California to attend UCSC, where I majored in Ecology with a Minor in Science Writing. Went to Grad school (History of Consciousness).

Stumbled into the high-tech world and worked as a consultant (writer, designer, creative director, information architect) for decades. Client list includes Apple, Google, Sun, Logitech, HP, Northern Telecom, Sony, and many others.

Enjoyed the work immensely until the oligarchs ruined the industry.

I'm very grateful for my beautiful family and the life I've lived!
